The Magnet Made in China! You will receive one "magnet", which consists of two individual magnets stuck together as pictured. Contains the strongest grade (N52) neodymium cylinder magnets. Each half has a 5/16" (8mm) N52 neodymium cylinder magnet. These are press fit into a machined brass carrier, which includes a 1/2" (12mm) split ring on each side. Measures 3/8" (9.5mm) diameter by 1.25" (32mm) long.
This is a one of a kind unique item! Includes two small & and two large size split rings. Some of the uses include: Key or key chain quick release. Use each half independently as a magnetic key hanger. Test metals, including industrial scrap, antiques, and jewelry for ferrous content (steel and iron). Use as a Valet key disconnect. Spare your ignition from the weight of your entire key set. Also good for frequently loaned keys, or use the two halves separately to hang sets of keys on doors, filing cabinets, refrigerators, etc. Use for different purposes in fishing, hunting, camping, etc.
Use to disconnect your keys from your ignition key when parking your car or truck, and place the keys under the dash to any metal out of view, take only the ignition key with you. This avoids having to carry all your keys with you every time you park your car. Handy if you don't want to carry the added weight. The uses and ideas are limitless!
Sintered NdFeB magnets are the most powerful commercialized permanent magnets available today, with maximum energy product ranging from 26 MGOe to 52 MGOe. Nd-Fe-B is the third generation of permanent magnet developed in the 1980s. It has a combination of very high remanence and coercivity, and comes with a wide range of grades, sizes and shapes. With its excellent magnetic characteristics, abundant raw material and relatively low prices, Nd-Fe-B offers more flexibility in designing of new or replace the traditional magnet materials such as ceramic, Alnico and Sm-Co to achieve high efficiency, low cost and more compact devices.
